Basic Islamic Sciences Department

This department examines Islam’s primary sources and the scientific and cultural heritage of Islamic civilization concerning faith, worship, law, and ethical principles at an academic level. As an essential part of this field, the Arabic language, which serves as the primary source language, and the religious-sectarian formations that have emerged and institutionalized throughout history are also among the main subjects of this department. Additionally, contemporary religious issues are addressed, and appropriate solutions are developed in accordance with fundamental sources and established values based on scientific criteria.

Within this framework, the Basic Islamic Sciences Department includes the following subfields:
