DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES

General Overview

The program trains qualified personnel to work in various roles, such as:

  • Software development specialist (web, application, and mobile programming) in IT companies,

  • IT support technician in businesses,

  • Technical maintenance and repair specialist,

  • Data entry operator and IT support staff in public institutions,

  • Automation system support technician in factories,

  • Website administrator for corporate and internet companies,

  • Graphic designer in advertising agencies.

Graduates can also work as paid instructors in public or private schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.

 

Admission Requirements & Program Capacity

  • Applicants must score 150 or above in the TYT (Basic Proficiency Test).

  • The program has a quota of 62 students.

Graduation Requirements

  • Completion of 120 ECTS credits (including mandatory and elective courses).

  • Successful completion of compulsory internships.

  • A minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00.

  • Graduates earn an Associate Degree and the title of "Computer Programmer" or "Computer Technician".

Vertical Transfer Opportunities

After completing the 2-year associate degree, students can take the DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam) to enter 4-year bachelor's programs, including:
