ABOUT ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING

The basic subjects of Electrical and Electronics Engineering are based on science and mathematics. Advanced mathematics education is given to deal with the main topics and problems of electricity and electrons. This engineering department differs from other science departments mainly in terms of application. For this reason, this engineering department should be the primary preference of students who are interested in science and mathematics, have numerical intelligence, investigate causality, and are interested in the working principles of systems and technologies.
Graduates can be employed in the public or private sector by taking the title of "Electrical and Electronics Engineer". With the rapid increase in the technologies the need for graduates of this department has increased even more. Some of the places where graduates can work are:
· In public institutions (TEDAS, TEIAS, EPDK, TCDD, KGM, Municipalities etc.)
· Academic staff at private or state colleges
· In telecommunication companies (TT, Turkcell, Vodafone etc.)
· Technology and software companies
· In the automotive sector
· Project and consultancy firms
· Companies operating R&D
· In factories
