The Department of Educational Sciences consists of seven branches, namely Philosophical, Social and Historical Foundations of Education, Educational Programs and Teaching, Educational Administration, Measurement and Evaluation in Education, Lifelong Learning and Adult Education, Instructional Technologies, Counselling and Psychological Counselling Branches.
The basic function of the Department of Educational Sciences is to give vocational teaching courses in undergraduate programs of education faculties, to implement in-service training programs for administrators and teachers in primary and secondary schools and also in other educational institutions, and to conduct research in the field of education.
