VISION
In light of Atatürk’s principles and reforms, advancing in the line determined by the achievements of our democratic and secular republic; to raise highly qualified individuals who adopt contemporary and ethical values, believe in the rule of law, are equipped at the national and universal level, and can contribute to science, technology, culture, and art. In addition to training qualified physical education teachers who have internalized the values of the information society; to be an exemplary department with physical education teachers it has trained, who produce and apply knowledge in the fields of education, training, and the teaching profession. It aims to train scientists and experts who contribute to creative and universal science by providing the highest level of postgraduate education in an environment that recognizes and promotes their national values and will allow them to reveal their own potential.
MISSION
To train scientists who are sincerely committed to Atatürk’s principles and revolutions, who are strictly adhered to the principles of education in training physical education teachers for primary and secondary education institutions, who solve problems, who have creative, critical thinking, who take responsibility and who can make decisions freely, education, training, coaching, sportsmanship. To carry out basic and applied original scientific research in the fields of education and teaching profession, to provide in-service training programs to the relevant institutions on the issues needed by the sports society, to conduct research on the subjects needed by the institutions and to organize scientific events to enlighten the employees in educational institutions, to carry out the functions of creating artistic and sportive values and the responsibility of serving the society at universal standards, raising scientists and experts who contribute to the happiness of the society, open new horizons, and lead the society in changing world conditions branch of science.
