ABOUT
I. International Small Works Art Biennial is being organised for the first time in order to make Karaman one of the centres of contemporary art and to provide the region with new approaches and benefits through the language of art.
Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University has adopted the principle of being a bridge between the past and the future of the ancient city by creating a meeting place for artists, art lovers and art stakeholders with various events throughout its history.
For this reason, the Biennial, which aims to convey the messages of art and artists about life by contributing to the visibility of artistic accumulation and production in the region, will take place both in the historical places of Karaman, which harbour its unique beauty and culture, and in the areas where daily life continues.
Organised under the leadership of Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University and with the contributions of public and private stakeholders, the Biennial will meet its audience in more than 20 venues between 01 December 2024 - 30 August 2025.
