FIRST SECTION
 
Purpose, Scope, Basis and Definitions
 
Purpose
 
ARTICLE 1 – (1) The purpose of this Regulation is to regulate the procedures and principles regarding the purposes and goals, fields of activity, management bodies and the duties and working methods of the said bodies of Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Career Planning Application and Research Center.
 
Scope
 
ARTICLE 2 – (1) This Regulation covers the provisions regarding the purposes and goals, fields of activity, management bodies, duties and working methods of the management bodies of Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Career Planning Application and Research Center.
 
Base
 
ARTICLE 3 – (1) This Regulation has been prepared based on subparagraph (2) of paragraph (d) of the first paragraph of Article 7 and Article 14 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 dated 4/11/1981.
 
Definitions
 
ARTICLE 4 – (1) The following terms are used in this Regulation;
 
a) Unit Manager: Unit manager of the faculties, institutes, colleges, vocational schools, other application and research centers affiliated with Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University and departments affiliated with the Rectorate,
 
b) Center: Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Career Planning Application and Research Center,
 
c) Director: Director of the Center,
 
ç) Deputy Director: Deputy Director of the Center,
 
d) Rector: Rector of Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University,
 
e) University: Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University,
 
f) University Units: Each of the faculties, institutes, colleges, vocational schools, other application and research centers affiliated with Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University and departments affiliated with the Rectorate,
 
g) Board of Directors: Board of Directors of the Center,
 
SECTION TWO
 
Objectives and Fields of Activity of the Center
 
Objectives of the Center
 
ARTICLE 5 – (1) The objectives of the Center; to prepare students and graduates of the University for working life, to provide consultancy services on creating career plans and to contribute to regional development by sharing the results of the activities to be carried out with institutions and organizations.
 
Fields of activity of the Center
 
ARTICLE 6 – (1) The fields of activity of the Center are as follows:
 
a) To contribute to the employability of the students and graduates of the University by providing them with qualifications for the requirements of the labor market.
 
b) To combine the academic knowledge given at the University with the application in working life, to train individuals who are competent in both theoretical basis and application.
 
c) To inform about the structure and functioning of the labor market, expectations on the supply and demand side, professions, vocational training, working life and career processes within the scope of university-industry cooperation.
 
ç) To develop the job search behaviors of the students and graduates of the University.
 
d) To build a bridge between the actors of working life and the students and graduates of the University, to bring them together and to ensure their communication.
 
e) To organize and provide training, seminars and similar events in order to support the academic development of the students and graduates of the University as well as their personal development.
 
f) To ensure that the students and graduates of the University develop their social responsibility awareness and social and human capital by cooperating with civil society organizations.
 
g) To organize various events to bring together qualified graduates who have been brought into the business world by the University and students.
 
ğ) To provide consultancy services on individual career planning, CV preparation, interview techniques, job and internship applications, profession and sector introductions, master's degree applications and various exams.
 
h) To create awareness on entrepreneurship and innovation in the context of alternative career plans.
 
ı) To organize career day events in order to bring together representatives of the business world and University students.
 
i) To organize sector and profession introduction meetings in order to introduce various sectors to students in the context of the public and private sectors.
 
j) To organize activities to provide University students with knowledge, skills and qualifications in line with sectoral expectations.
 
k) To provide information on open positions and internship opportunities by bringing together businesses or organizations in the region with University students and graduates and to ensure that job postings and internship requests from businesses are announced to our students and graduates.
 
l) To organize conferences and seminars on various subjects that will support professional and personal development according to the demands from different departments and students of the University.
 
SECTION THREE
 
The Center's Management Bodies and Their Duties

ARTICLE 7 – (1) The Center's management bodies are as follows:
 
a) Director.
 
b) Board of Directors.

ARTICLE 8 – (1) The Director is appointed by the Rector from among the full-time academic staff of the University for a period of three years.
