History |
The faculty was established in 1992. In 2001, the Department of Public Administration was opened. |
Gained Degree |
This department is subject to the first stage degree system of 240 ECTS credits in the field of Public Administration in higher education. When the program is successfully completed and program qualifications are provided, students are owned a Bachelor degree in Political Science and Public Administration. |
Terms of Acceptance |
The student who wants to register is obliged to complete the exams determined by OSYM within the academic and legal regulations of the university. A student who is studying in the equivalent program in the country or abroad may apply for a transfer. Acceptance of students is examined and assessed individually at the beginning of the semester, taking into consideration the conditions of each student and the degree to which he/she applied. |

Depending on the average degree of ALES, foreign language and graduate education scores a student can continue education after bachelor degree. |

Employment Opportunities |
There are wide employment opportunities for various positions of public bureaucracies, especially governorship and administrator judgeship, for departmental graduates who take courses related to social sciences such as management, social science, politics, law, urbanization and economics. The education they receive is also suitable for private sector. Students who have successfully completed the program can apply to graduate and doctoral degrees in the field of Political Science and Public Administration or other branches of field accepting students from this area. |
Measurement and Evaluation |
The exams are evaluated on 100 score basis. 40% of the midterm examinations and 60% of the final examinations are taken into account and a passing grade is calculated by applying a relative system to the students who take the relevant course. |
