Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
1. Possess fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering.
2. Define, model, analyze, and solve mechanical engineering problems.
3. Design a system, process, device, or product to meet specific requirements under realistic constraints and conditions; apply modern design methods for this purpose.
4. Develop, select, and use modern techniques and tools necessary for analyzing and solving engineering problems; effectively utilize information technologies.
5. Design thermal and mechanical system experiments to investigate engineering problems or discipline-specific research topics, conduct these experiments, collect data, analyze results, and interpret findings.
6. Be aware of the effects of engineering applications on health, environment, and safety, understand engineering-related issues in the modern world, and comprehend the legal consequences of engineering solutions.
7. Communicate effectively in both oral and written Turkish, along with proficiency in at least one foreign language.
8. Be aware of the necessity of lifelong learning; develop the ability to access information, track developments in science and technology, and continuously renew oneself.
9. Have a sense of professional and ethical responsibility, and use standards in engineering practices.
10. Gain knowledge in project management, risk management, entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainable development, and change management in professional applications.
