Laser Microscopy and Nano-Optics Laboratory was established in Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University, Faculty of Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in 2013. The laboratory is actively designed on FLIM and FRET techniques and develops in terms of hardware with various projects.
In general: Near field (<10 nm) interactions between dye molecules, scanning confocal optical microscope design, investigation of radiation characteristics of dye molecules placed near nanostructures by FLIM technique are studied in the laboratory.
