ABOUT US
 
Our Therapy and Rehabilitation department has two programs: Physiotherapy Program and Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Program. Our programs are at associate degree level. Our Physiotherapy Program was opened with three expert Lecturers in the field and has not started accepting students yet. Our Physiotherapy program primarily aims to train qualified intermediate manpower required for public and private institutions. It also aims to provide our students with the knowledge and skills required for carrying out physical therapy procedures in health institutions, to support education with practical applications and to provide them with the ability to work in a team by using the information they have acquired in the application areas as well as communication skills. In accordance with these goals, the courses taught are given by taking into consideration theoretical knowledge, experimental talent and ability, and applications in traditional and modern technology.
 
Admission Requirements
To be a high school graduate and to meet the success criteria determined for the program in the entrance exam organized by the Student Assessment, Selection and Placement Center.
 
Graduation Requirements
Students must pass the compulsory and elective courses, including the compulsory practices in the curriculum, and meet the conditions specified in the Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Associate Degree, Undergraduate Education and Training Regulation.
 
Employment Opportunities
They can work as physiotherapy technicians in state and private hospitals, university hospitals, spa centers, nursing homes, private education centers, sports clubs, and rehabilitation centers.
 
Degree Earned
Graduates who successfully complete the program by fulfilling all requirements receive the "Associate Degree Diploma in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation" degree.

Transition to Further Degree Programs
Physiotherapy program graduates have the right to transfer to departments such as Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nursing, Nursing and Health Management if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (VTE).
