Within the scope of the university’s educational approach that emphasizes applied learning, students from the International Trade and Logistics Department conducted a technical visit to the Karaman Revenue Office. During the organized program, students had the opportunity to examine the functioning of public finance and the tax system on site.
During the visit, officials from the Revenue Office provided students with comprehensive information about the institution’s duties, the processes of collecting public revenues, and the execution of financial procedures. While students had the opportunity to better understand the role of public institutions within the economic system, they also directed questions to the officials about the topics they were curious about.
Thanks to the technical visit, students had the opportunity to relate the theoretical knowledge they gained in their courses with practical applications. It was stated that the program was important in terms of increasing students’ professional awareness and contributing to their understanding of how public institutions operate.
At the end of the visit, the department faculty members and students thanked the officials of the Karaman Revenue Office for their interest and for sharing valuable information.
