Social, Humanitarian, and Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association (STAR)

STAR aims to contribute to the enhancement of the quality of Social, Humanitarian, and Basic Sciences undergraduate programs in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus by organizing training, workshops, and informational events related to evaluation and accreditation processes. Conducting evaluation and accreditation activities aligned with its mission and objectives, STAR possesses a broad and comprehensive infrastructure that supports the development of undergraduate programs in collaboration with professional organizations and business representatives. STAR adopts a stakeholder-focused approach, emphasizing interaction with stakeholders in the events it organizes. Through its policies, STAR seeks to play a key role in advancing societal welfare by fostering the education of better-trained and higher-quality graduates from undergraduate programs who understand current trends and developments in social life and the business world.

To achieve its objectives, STAR organizes and supports training, workshops, and informational events at both international and national levels. As a non-governmental organization, STAR carries out the continuous development and improvement of Social, Humanitarian, and Basic Sciences undergraduate programs as part of its social responsibility mission.

STAR was established to promote the development, continuous improvement, and assurance of educational quality of social, humanitarian, and basic sciences undergraduate programs in the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It oversees evaluation and accreditation activities for undergraduate programs in fields such as Business Administration, International Trade, Management Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Banking, Labor Economics, Public Administration, Political Science and International Relations, Econometrics, Statistics, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Insurance, and Actuarial Science.
