The Konya Chamber of Industry organized a training program titled “Analysis of International Delivery Terms in Terms of Risks and Costs”, focusing on international delivery methods, which play a critical role in export processes. The training was conducted by our faculty member from the International Trade and Logistics Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Arslandere.

During the program, international delivery terms were examined in detail according to different transportation types. Participants were provided with comprehensive information on delivery terms at the seller’s premises, transportation procedures, and insurance practices.

The training, attended by employees responsible for foreign trade operations in companies, covered practical applications to reduce risks during the export process and the impact of selecting the correct delivery term on costs. Participants were also informed about the types of insurance applied to shipped goods and the types of coverage available.

Additionally, the program included analyses of delivery terms in terms of export and import costs, criteria for selecting the right carrier, and example case studies. During the Q&A session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Arslandere answered participants’ questions, providing valuable guidance for practical export operations.
