Music is a universal language of expressing feelings and thoughts and is an integral part of contemporary education. Music education offers the opportunity to learn both Turkish and Western Music in depth as an art and science while developing the creativity of individuals. This education adopts an approach equipped with contemporary knowledge and technological developments while enabling students to comprehend national artistic and cultural values correctly. In addition, it aims to provide innovative and universal perspectives in the field of music through intercultural interaction and interdisciplinary synthesis. Thus, it is aimed to train qualified music performers and educators and to build a strong artistic bridge to the future. The main aim of our music department is to develop the students' artistic aspects by improving their practical, theoretical and technical equipment and to enable them to comprehend music as a branch of art and science. Within this framework, an approach has been adopted for individuals to reach high levels of both vocal and academic knowledge. Our music department, which first started to admit students in 2024, is in a rapid development process day by day with its physical facilities and staff. The department's primary goal for students is to ensure that they are well-equipped and ready for their lives after graduation. For this reason, it is among our main goals that they have absolute success first in their instruments and then in the fields they are interested in. Graduates of the department, if they prefer, can make professional orientations towards professional groups such as teachers, artists, academicians, researchers, etc.
