The Department of History held its Internal Monthly Evaluation Meeting on Quality Assurance and Accreditation Activities. The meeting took place in the Department of History Seminar Room.

During the meeting activities carried out to date within the framework of quality assurance and accreditation were reviewed and ongoing as well as planned initiatives were discussed. In addition, issues related to the updating and revision of course curricula and the improvement of course information packages were addressed.

In line with the decisions taken at the conclusion of the meeting, it was resolved to organize career days and alumni gatherings in order to contribute to students’ career planning. Furthermore, it was decided to update the course curricula by increasing the number of elective courses and to revise the course information packages during the mid-term break.

The participants of the meeting stated that they would continue their efforts to strengthen quality assurance and accreditation processes in accordance with the decisions adopted.
