Barrier-Free University

It is an important requirement for the Disabled Student Unit and academic units to be in close communication and cooperation with students with disabilities (visual, physical, hearing, dyslexia, hyperactivity and attention deficit disorder, diabetes, etc.) in the departments. In this context, there is a "disabled student academic advisor" in each faculty and college in order to provide the necessary support.

Barrier-Free Information Center
 
In order to meet the information needs of our disabled users at our university, the “Barrier-Free Information Center” provides services within the Central Library. The Barrier-Free Information Center provides information services to our disabled users using its hardware and software technologies.

Note: In order to benefit from our Visually Impaired unit and services, users must declare their ID or report stating that they are visually impaired, in accordance with the Additional Article 11 of the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works No. 5846.
