Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University School of Foreign Languages was established by a Presidential Decree in accordance with Articles 30 and 158 (additional) of the Law on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions No. 2809, as published in the Official Gazette No. 30812.
The proposal of our university to establish departments and disciplines within the School of Foreign Languages was reviewed at the Executive Board meeting of the Council of Higher Education on 13.11.2019. Pursuant to Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880, it was deemed appropriate to establish the following department and discipline within our school:
