The vision of our university is to become one of the respected universities on a global scale by developing competence areas that can meet local and regional needs. In line with this vision; some goals included in the 2020 strategic plan are as following:
To increase national and international recognition and ensure institutional development by establishing an effective and efficient administrative structure.
To increase the education level to an internationally competitive level by increasing the quality in education and training.
To achieve universal criteria in the number of students per faculty member.
To increase the quality of departments / programs to international accreditation standards throughout the university.
To ensure the implementation of the Bologna education system at all stages.
To develop application areas that will turn theory into practice.
Exchange programs and international students form the basis of our internationalization strategy that supports the university's vision and goals. Via Erasmus + and Mevlana Exchange Programs, it is aimed to strengthen relations with many universities in and outside Europe and to establish new project partnerships. Therefore, lots ofbilateral agreements and cooperation agreements were signed with universities from many countries. As a result, it is managed to realize student and staff exchanges with partner institutions.
In addition to KA103 projects in Erasmus KA1, our university alsoprepares KA107 projects and has managed to realize new activities in this field. The projects of our university in the fields of Erasmus Main Action 1: KA1 (KA103 and KA107) projects within the scope of Learning Mobility of Individuals and Main Action 2: KA2 projects within the scope of Cooperation for the Change of Innovation and Good Practices have been accepted.The new purpose of our university is to head for the projects of Erasmus Action Main Action 3: Support for Policy Reform Special Action1: Sports Supports Special Action2: Jean Monnet Programs while also maintain KA1 and KA1 projects.
International Relations Office which is included in the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan was established in 2019.International Relations Officeconducts, develops and supports the international exchange and cooperation activities of the University. Exchange programs and units for international students are gathered under the organization of International Relations Office.International Projects will continue in the future under the coordination of International Relations Office. These projects are expected to make significant contributions to our university, our university stakeholders, academic and administrative staff and students. These contributions are expected to be seen in the following areas within the university strategy, goals and objectives:

To establish a sensitive and solution-oriented effective academic and administrative structure, creating a quality culture within the institution, ensuring institutional development and increasing national and international recognition.

Our university will continue to be a part of the European Higher Education Area by implementing the Bologna process.Mutual recognition of qualifications and learning periods completed inabroad partner universities will be ensured and a quality assurance system will be implemented to strengthen the quality and suitability of learning and teaching. The Erasmus Program which is expected to be digitalized in the period of 2021-2027, is planned to be carried out in our university in the best way by strengthening the necessary infrastructure in this regard. Furthermore, our university supports the approach that gives priority to individuals with disabilities. It will be ensured that the sensitivity and priorities given to individuals with disabilities will be put into force.All necessary efforts will be made to carry out the new Erasmus period with an understanding that treats all individuals equally, fairly, impartially and excludes racist approaches, values cultural diversity and prioritizes universal values. Environmental practices will be supported to contribute to a Sustainable World.
