A farewell dinner was organized for our esteemed faculty members, Prof. Dr. Fevzi KILIÇEL and Prof. Dr. Ali İhsan DEMİREL, who have made valuable contributions to our faculty through their long years of education, teaching, and scientific work. The event was attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet GAVGALI, Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Nevzat AYDIN, and our Dean, Prof. Dr. Sedat PAK, along with academic and administrative staff.

In the speeches given during the farewell dinner, it was emphasized that the retiring professors are the first faculty members to retire from our faculty, and the significance of this was highlighted. As expressed by our Rector, this situation is considered a concrete sign that, despite being a young institution, our university continues its institutional development and is entering a process of academic maturation.

Memories from the professors’ academic lives were shared, and the marks they left on both students and our institution during their careers were emphasized. At the end of the program, plaques were presented to them, and well wishes for health, happiness, and peace in their retirement lives were conveyed.

Once again, we express our gratitude to our esteemed professors for the value they have added to our faculty and wish them success and well-being in this new phase of their lives.
