As Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Faculty of Science, we are strengthening our vision of closely following universal science and offering education at international standards day by day. In line with this vision, a new Erasmus+ bilateral exchange agreement has been officially signed between our Department of Data Science and Analytics, which undertakes innovative and dynamic studies within our faculty, and Riga Nordic University, one of the esteemed higher education institutions of Latvia.

In today's world where science, data, and technology know no borders, the active integration of our students and academic staff into the global ecosystem is one of the primary goals of our faculty. This valuable cooperation not only enables mutual student and staff mobility within the framework of European Union education programs but also paves the way for establishing long-term academic, scientific, and cultural bridges between the two institutions.

Thanks to this prestigious agreement, the students of our Department of Data Science and Analytics will have the privilege of continuing a part of their undergraduate and graduate education in the Baltic region, one of Europe's rapidly developing technology and innovation hubs. The data scientists of the future will have the opportunity to experience different academic traditions, take part in multinational research projects, improve their foreign language skills, and gain an invaluable international vision for their postgraduate careers.

In addition to these horizon-expanding opportunities offered to our students, the academic staff mobility to be carried out within the scope of the agreement will also bring significant momentum to the research potential of our faculty. Our academicians will be able to share knowledge and experience with their colleagues at Riga Nordic University, conduct joint scientific studies, and lay strong foundations for new interdisciplinary international projects.
