On April 30, 2026, the 'Golden Ratio Hunters' event was organized by the Mathematics Club under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merve Kara, with the participation of many students and academics. During the trip, significant historical sites of Karaman, such as the İmaret Mosque, Aktekke Mosque, Hatuniye Madrasa, Karaman Museum, Tartan Mansion, and Hürrem Dayı House, were visited, and participants attempted to photograph the traces of mathematical structures within these unique monuments.

The Karaman Museum was toured accompanied by a guide, and artifacts dating back to 5000 BC were examined closely. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to organizing this highly productive event, aimed at preserving our cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations, particularly our faculty dean Prof. Dr. Sedat Pak and our organization guide Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merve Kara.
