On May 4, 2026, the “History of Science, General Knowledge, and Integral Knowledge Competition” was held, jointly organized by the clubs of the Department of Software Development, Data Science and Analytics, and Mathematics.

Eight teams of students from our faculty competed in an exciting contest. Questions on the history of science related to Turkish-Islamic history provided our students with an opportunity to learn about their national values, while integral questions pushed the boundaries of mathematical problem-solving.

The competition’s jury consisted of our Faculty’s Associate Dean, Dr. Merve Görgülü, the Head of the Department of Data Science and Analytics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Yıldırım, and the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nimet Çoşkun.

Certificates of achievement and awards were presented to the students who finished in the top three by our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Sedat PAK.
