On June 9, 2026, the graduation ceremony for the Kamil Özdağ Faculty of Science was held in the Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Conference Hall.

The ceremony was attended by our university’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Gavgalı, and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Aydın, as well as numerous faculty members and the families of our graduates. During the ceremony, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Aydın, our Faculty’s valedictorian Merve Kütükçüoğlu, our Dean Prof. Dr. Sedat Pak, and the Head of the Mathematics Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nimet Çoşkun delivered speeches. The Yankı Music Group performed a mini-concert, and a slide show featuring student photos was presented. Following the presentation of certificates of achievement to our top three graduates—Merve Kütükçüoğlu, Sena Aydoğan, and Gonca Doğan—certificates were presented to all graduates. The ceremony concluded with the traditional cap-tossing ceremony.
