Steps Toward Cooperation with the National Technology Workshop!

Arif Ertürk Atalar, Coordinator of the National Technology Workshop, met to discuss the opportunities offered by the TÜBİTAK National Technology Workshop—established at our university with the support of TÜBİTAK under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology— , visited the Kâmil Özdağ Faculty of Science on July 28, 2026, to discuss the opportunities offered by the TÜBİTAK National Technology Workshop established at our university and the processes of the TÜBİTAK National Technology Clubs Association. During the visit, he met with Dean Prof. Dr. Sedat Pak and distinguished faculty members.

During this productive meeting, it was noted that once the workshop becomes operational, faculty students and academics will be able to effectively utilize advanced equipment such as 3D printers, CNC routers, lathes, and milling machines, and that materials required for projects will be procured through the workshop.

Furthermore, the importance of potential collaborations—including joint research activities, student visits, scientific presentations, and TÜBİTAK projects—to be implemented in the coming periods was emphasized, and it was noted that the workshop’s doors are wide open to all stakeholders.
