EXCITEMENT FOR THE NEW SEMESTER AT OUR FACULTY: "ADMINISTRATION AND STUDENTS WERE TOGETHER FROM DAY ONE"

An Administrative Approach on the Ground from Day One

During the gatherings held in the faculty courtyard, Dean Prof. Dr. Sedat Pak, along with Associate Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Sürmen and Dr. Merve Görgülü, engaged closely with the students. While discussing the new academic year, the administration listened to the students’ views and suggestions and inspected the physical facilities and arrangements implemented at the faculty firsthand.

Embracing a student-centered management approach from day one, the faculty administration emphasized collective decision-making by holding productive consultations with students regarding the changes made.

Orientation Program and ID Card Distribution

A brief orientation program was organized for first-year students—who were most excited about the first day—to help them adjust to the faculty. As part of the program, new student ID cards were presented to the students, and best wishes for success were conveyed to the young people whose faces radiated the joy of becoming college students.

A Meaningful Memory from the Department of Mathematics

At the end of the day, students from the Department of Mathematics gathered to commemorate the first day of their college life. The group photo taken in the garden marked the beginning of the new semester with joy and made it unforgettable.
