International Academic Contacts in South Korea and Poland by Our Department Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gül KARADUMAN

Our department faculty member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gül KARADUMAN, has made significant contributions to our department's bilateral research and multi-national scientific collaborations through her international contacts in South Korea and Poland in August and September 2026.

Our faculty member carried out a research and cooperation visit to Kyungnam University (Changwon) in South Korea between August 18-28, 2026. During the contacts made upon the invitation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sat Byul Seo; ongoing joint studies in the fields of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) and Medical Data Science were evaluated, and new research projects and joint publication goals were planned.

Continuing her program, our faculty member attended the COST Action CA24124 (Neutro-NARPS) event held in Krakow, Poland, between September 3-5, 2026. Actively participating in working groups within the scope of the 1st Young Researchers Workshop & 2nd Working Groups Meeting, our faculty member;

delivered her presentation sharing project outputs and held evaluations with consortium members across Europe regarding potential new multi-national academic collaborations.
