PROGRAMME IN REAL ESTATE AND PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Public and private institutions operating in the area of real estate and property management seek professionals having self-confidence, entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, consciousness, professional knowledge and skills, being able to catch up on technological innovations, efficient communication skills, grasping the spirit of teamwork, being aware of their responsibilities, high rigour. In this regard, the mission of the Real Estate and Property Management Programme is to provide the sector with professionals having above mentioned qualifications.

Within the framework of harmonisation of the related law in Turkey with its counterpart in the EU, it is to be compulsory to obtain a licence to provide services as a real estate consultant and set up a real estate firm. After the enaction of the Law of Real Estate Consultancy in Turkey, there is to be high demand for qualified real estate consultants at high international occupational standards which the Programme aspires to provide.

The Programme in Real Estate and Property Management responds to a wide range of fields in the economy. Being regarded as one of the most vital sectors in the economy, the real estate sector is considerably determinant not only its own domain, but also in the domains of other sectors.

In this context, having satisfied all requirements of the Program, graduates are to come across business and job opportunities in diverse areas.

Graduates to be employed in the relevant public sector institutions;

 * General Directorate of Land Office,

 * General Directorate of Agricultural Reform,

 * General Directorate of National Real Estate,

 * General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre and its provincial and district level units,

 * Real Estate Directorates of Municipalities and other related public institutions and organizations,

Graduates to be employed in the related private sector enterprises;

 * Real estate firms and offices carrying out land development, land and land arrangement, parcelling, land subdivision, etc.

 * Geospatial companies and offices,

 * Construction companies,

 * Institutional real estate development and marketing companies or be able to become self-employed.
