The winds of change brought about by technological advancements and digital transformation processes are impacting the field of education, just as they are in all areas. Alongside technological developments, new educational practices have emerged, such as digitizing traditional classroom environments, personalizing learning processes, and integrating innovative technologies.
These new practices aim to better accommodate children's learning styles and needs, striving to provide an effective learning experience. The goal is to create educational environments tailored to children's interests, strengths, weaknesses, and needs, featuring customizable and rich environmental stimuli.
Today, alongside digital transformation products like distance learning models, mobile applications, virtual and augmented reality technologies, and social learning platforms, there are out-of-school learning methods that facilitate children's acquisition of real-world experiences, extending their learning beyond the school walls. These methods will contribute to children's personal and academic development.
In this context, the III. International Conference on Basic Education (ICBE 2024) will be held under the theme "Future Education Practices" at Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Faculty of Education from October 17th to 19th, 2024.
