PEO-1: Providing sufficient information about the historical development process of the translation and interpreting profession in Turkey and the world. PEO-2: Ensuring mastery of all stylistic levels of the source and target languages and possession of high-level communication skills. PEO-3: Comprehending the importance of cultural differences in communication and recognizing the cultures of the learned foreign languages well. PEO-4: Ensuring the successful use of dictionaries, computers, artificial intelligence (AI) supported programs, and information and communication technologies during the translation process. PEO-5: Providing information about the legal framework of the translation profession and developing awareness regarding ethical rules. PEO-6: Adopting the necessity of lifelong learning. PEO-7: Instilling the sentiment of attaching importance to research and development. PEO-8: Gaining and developing the ability to access information in a short time; in this context, teaching research and information acquisition tools. PEO-9: Transferring information regarding various oral and written special field applications of the translation profession. PEO-10: Ensuring the comprehension of the importance of terminology studies in translation. PEO-11: Conducting undergraduate and graduate education to train translators, scientists, publishers, editors, and entrepreneurs who master quality control processes, proofreading stages, and methods in translation. |
