2025-2026 Academic Year Activity and Closing Review

As the Department of Data Science and Analytics at Kamil Özdağ Faculty of Science, we are proud to leave behind the 2025-2026 Fall and Spring Semesters—which we excitedly commenced with the "Department Introductory Meeting"—with a calendar full of scientific, social, and cultural activities.

Throughout the year, we focused on strengthening not only the academic development of our students but also their social and cultural competencies. With this vision, we successfully organized numerous valuable events such as the Seminar on Ways to Use Artificial Intelligence Efficiently, TÜBİTAK 2209-A Information Conference, our Traditional Iftar Program, Book Review Gatherings, Knowledge Contest, various Scientific Seminars, and the GDG Konya Trip.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Sedat Pak, and our Head of the Data Science and Analytics Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Yıldırım, who did not spare their valuable support at every stage of our programs.

Furthermore, we sincerely thank the President of the Data Science Society, Bilge Uzuncaköse, for her outstanding dedication and effort, as well as all our club members, our students who added enthusiasm to our events, and our academic and administrative staff for their invaluable contributions.
