1. Understands the fundamental mathematical and statistical knowledge required for data science and analytics, and is able to apply them effectively to solve complex data science problems.
2. Gains proficiency in widely-used and contemporary programming languages in the field of data science, and develops competence in algorithm development, data structures, and programming fundamentals.
3. Differentiates between various data types, possesses knowledge of database management systems, and can effectively carry out data collection, storage, querying, and management processes.
4. Applies fundamental machine learning and deep learning algorithms to appropriate problems in order to extract meaningful patterns and insights from large datasets, and can interpret the results.
