Zorunlu Hazırlık Sınıfları Muafiyet Durumu ve Yeterlilik/Seviye Tespit Sınavı Duyurusu (Uluslararası Öğrenci Programı)

Sevgili Öğrencilerimiz,

Uluslararası Öğrenci Programı kapsamında 3-30 Ekim 2025 tarihleri arasında üniversitemize yeni kayıt yaptıran tüm öğrencilerimizi tebrik ederiz, hoş geldiniz!

Üniversitemiz Edebiyat Fakültesi Mütercim ve Tercümanlık Bölümü (Almanca, Arapça, Farsça, Fransızca) ile İngiliz Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü öğrencileri için zorunlu hazırlık sınıfı uygulaması bulunmaktadır.

Aşağıda belirtilen şartları sağlayan ve durumlarını belgeleyen öğrenciler hazırlık sınıfından muaf olabilirler. Bu koşulları taşımayan öğrenciler ise hazırlık sınıfından muafiyet için yapılacak Yeterlilik / Seviye Tespit Sınavı’na katılabilirler.

1. Zorunlu Hazırlık Sınıfından Doğrudan Muafiyet

Aşağıdaki koşullardan birini sağlayan öğrenciler hazırlık sınıfından muaftır:

  • Son üç yılı ilgili yabancı dilin ana dil olarak konuşulduğu ülkelerde, o ülke vatandaşlarının devam ettiği ortaöğretim kurumlarında eğitim alarak mezun olduğunu belgeleyenler,
  • Ulusal veya ÖSYM tarafından tanınan uluslararası yabancı dil sınavlarından aşağıda belirtilen asgari puanları alanlar:
    • Almanca: 60
    • Arapça: 60
    • Farsça: 85
    • Fransızca: 85
    • İngilizce: 75
  • Başka bir yükseköğretim kurumunda yabancı dilde eğitim veren programların hazırlık sınıfını son 5 yıl içinde başarıyla tamamlayanlar veya aynı süre içinde ilgili kurumun yeterlik/seviye tespit sınavında başarılı olanlar.

👉 Bu durumda olan öğrencilerin, muafiyet dilekçesi ile birlikte belgelerini 30 Ekim-4 Kasım 2025 tarihleri arasında Yabancı Diller Yüksekokulu’na elden teslim etmeleri gerekmektedir.

Muafiyet dilekçesi Yüksekokulda başvuru öncesi doldurulacaktır.

2. Yeterlilik / Seviye Tespit Sınavı ile Muafiyet

Yukarıdaki şartları taşımayan öğrenciler, hazırlık sınıfından muaf olmak için 5 Kasım 2025 Çarşamba günü saat 14.30’da yapılacak Yeterlik / Seviye Tespit Sınavı’na katılabilirler.

  • Sınava katılım isteğe bağlıdır.
  • Sınava girmeyen öğrenciler doğrudan hazırlık sınıfına devam ederler.

3. Sınavla İlgili Bilgiler

  • Sınav, Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi Yabancı Diller Yüksekokulu zemin kat dersliklerinde yüz yüze yapılacaktır.
  • Sınav sonuçları, en geç 6 Kasım 2025 tarihinde Yüksekokul web sitesinde duyurulacaktır.
  • Sınavda başarılı olan öğrenciler doğrudan kendi bölümlerine devam edebilecektir.

·       Sınav için yanınızda kimlik kartı ile kalem ve silgi bulundurmanız yeterlidir.

Dear Students,

We sincerely congratulate and welcome all students who have newly registered at our university between October 3–30, 2025 within the scope of the International Student Program.

The School of Foreign Languages offers compulsory preparatory classes for the following departments of the Faculty of Letters:

  • Translation and Interpretation (German, Arabic, Persian, French)
  • English Language and Literature

Students who meet the conditions listed below and provide the necessary documentation may be exempted from the preparatory class. Those who do not meet these requirements may take the Proficiency/Placement Exam to be exempted from the preparatory year.

1. Direct Exemption from the Compulsory Preparatory Class

Students who meet one of the following criteria are directly exempt from the preparatory class:

  • Those who have completed the last three years of secondary education in schools attended by citizens of a country where the target foreign language is the native language and can document it.
  • Those who have obtained at least the following minimum scores from national exams or international foreign language exams recognized by ÖSYM (the Student Selection and Placement Center of Türkiye):
    • German: 60
    • Arabic: 60
    • Persian: 85
    • French: 85
    • English: 75
  • Those who have successfully completed the preparatory class of a higher education institution providing education in the relevant foreign language within the last five years or have passed that institution’s proficiency/placement exam within the same period.

👉 Students meeting one of these conditions must submit their exemption request form and supporting documents in person to the School of Foreign Languages between October 30 and November 4, 2025.

(The exemption request form will be filled out at the School before submission.)

2. Exemption through the Proficiency/Placement Exam

Students who do not meet the above criteria may take the Proficiency/Placement Exam to be exempted from the preparatory class.

  • The exam will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 14:30.
  • Participation in the exam is optional.
  • Students who do not take the exam will automatically begin the preparatory class.

3. Exam Details

  • The exam will be held face-to-face at the School of Foreign Languages, ground-floor classrooms, Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University.
  • The results will be announced on the School’s website by November 6, 2025 at the latest.
  • Students who pass the exam will directly proceed to their respective departments.
  • Students should bring their ID card, pen, and eraser to the exam.
