Ermenek Dormitory Directorate
Our dormitory, which opened in the 2011-2012 academic year, has a total capacity of 670 students, with 400 female and 270 male students. The male student rooms in the Male Block are 16.00 m² and are equipped with 3-person bunk beds, wardrobes, nightstands, refrigerators, and study desks. The study room, WC, and bathroom are shared on each floor. The female student rooms in the Female Block are 35.00 m² and are equipped with 4-person bunk beds, wardrobes, shoe cabinets, nightstands, refrigerators, study desks, and private WC and bathroom facilities.
The operations of our dormitory are managed by 4 administrative staff, including 1 Dormitory Director, 1 Male Contracted Dormitory Management Personnel, and 2 Female Contracted Dormitory Management Personnel.
Additionally, services are provided to students by a total of 30 worker personnel, including 6 female and 3 male cleaning staff, 5 male HVAC staff, 1 male maintenance and repair staff, and 5 female and 10 male security staff, totaling 15 security personnel.
Our institution provides accommodation and meal services to our students. For the 2019-2020 academic year, students receive a daily breakfast allowance of 4.50 TL and a dinner allowance of 9.50 TL. Services such as 24-hour hot water and daily room and floor cleaning are consistently maintained.
In addition to these, our institution also offers social, sports, and cultural activities. In line with this, during the 2019-2020 academic year, with the support of the Public Education Center, the District Mufti's Office, and the Youth and Sports Directorate, courses such as jewelry design, sign language, fast typing, and Quranic recitation were offered by expert instructors, and certificates were awarded to our students.
Furthermore, during the 2019-2020 academic year, a certain number of students staying in the dormitory were provided with opportunities to visit the Karamanoğlu Mehmet Bey Tomb, participate in local trips, tree planting activities, and visit the families of terrorism and mining martyrs, Rehabilitation Centers, and Elderly Care Homes, within the limits of our resources.
