STAKEHOLDER ADVISORY BOARD

General Information

The Stakeholder Advisory Board is established by the decision of the Vocational School Board upon the recommendation of the Directorate in order to gather opinions and suggestions, primarily for the education, training, and research processes of Ermenek Uysal and Hasan Kalan Vocational School of Health Services. The board consists of internal and external stakeholders, and the Director presides over the meetings.

The Stakeholder Advisory Board meets at least once each academic year in September. The Director may call for additional meetings if deemed necessary. The decisions taken during these meetings are advisory in nature.

If the stakeholder relationship within the board is terminated, a new stakeholder is appointed by the decision of the Vocational School Board upon the recommendation of the Directorate.

Duties of the Board

  • Strengthen cooperation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders of the Vocational School.
  • Collect expectations from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop recommendations to enhance student motivation by leveraging the knowledge and experience of stakeholders.
  • Support practical applications in the relevant field through cooperation with external institutions and organizations.
  • Review and provide recommendations on the semester structure, credit hours, and course content of the programs offered.
  • Suggest necessary knowledge and skills required in the public and private sectors for professional development.
  • Plan to address the needs of the institution.
  • Propose projects, seminars, thesis studies, panels, symposiums, workshops, and similar scientific events.
  • Share suggestions related to education and training processes.
  • Present all recommendations to the Directorate.

Notes:

6.4.1: The Program Stakeholder List must consist of at least ten members. This list must include the Program Student Representative, at least three additional members from the Student Quality Commission (internal stakeholders), and at least one graduate student representative (external stakeholder). Additionally, at least one representative from the public or private sector where the program creates employment opportunities must be included as an external stakeholder. The list may also feature academics with educational experience in the field, university staff, other students, and relevant stakeholders. At least five individuals from the Program Stakeholder List must participate in the Program Stakeholder Advisory Board meetings.

6.4.2: If the program has not yet produced graduates, a Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University graduate from a similar program or a graduate of the same program from another university may be designated as the Graduate Representative.

6.4.3: The Program Stakeholder List is announced on the website. Its creation and/or updating is carried out by a Department Decision.

General Information

The Stakeholder Advisory Board, which will include internal and external stakeholders, is established by the decision of the Vocational School Board upon the recommendation of the Directorate in order to collect opinions and suggestions for Ermenek Uysal and Hasan Kalan Vocational School of Health Services, primarily in the fields of education, training, and research processes. If the partnership of a stakeholder within the Stakeholder Advisory Board is terminated, a new stakeholder is determined by the decision of the Vocational School Board upon the recommendation of the Directorate.


Duties of the Board

  • To strengthen cooperation and collaboration with the internal and external stakeholders of our Vocational School.
  • To gather the expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
  • To develop recommendations to enhance student motivation based on the knowledge and experience of stakeholders.
  • To support application-based studies in collaboration with external institutions and organizations.
  • To review and provide suggestions regarding the semester, credit hours, and content of departments/programs and courses.
  • To propose recommendations on the knowledge and expertise needed in professional fields within the public and private sectors.
  • To plan to meet institutional needs.
  • To suggest the organization of projects, seminars, thesis studies, panels, symposiums, workshops, and other scientific activities on necessary topics.
  • To share suggestions regarding educational processes.
  • To present all recommendations to the Directorate.

Note:

6.4.1: The Program Stakeholder List must consist of at least ten people. The list must include the Program Student Representative and at least three additional members from the Student Quality Commission (internal stakeholders), as well as at least one graduate student representative (external stakeholder). Additionally, at least one representative from the public and/or private sector in the field where the program provides employment must be listed as an external stakeholder. The list may also include academicians from inside or outside the institution with educational experience in the field, university staff, and other students and stakeholders. At least five individuals from the Program Stakeholder List must attend the Program Stakeholder Advisory Board meetings.

STAKEHOLDER ADVISORY BOARD

General Information

The Stakeholder Advisory Board, which will include internal and external stakeholders to collect opinions and suggestions for Ermenek Uysal and Hasan Kalan Vocational School of Health Services, particularly in the fields of education, training, and research processes, is established based on the decision of the Vocational School Board upon the recommendation of the Directorate. The Stakeholder Advisory Board is chaired by the Director.

The Stakeholder Advisory Board meets at least once every academic year in September. The Director may convene the Stakeholder Advisory Board whenever deemed necessary. The decisions made during the meeting are advisory in nature.

If a stakeholder's membership in the Stakeholder Advisory Board ends, the selection of a new stakeholder is carried out based on the recommendation of the Directorate and the decision of the Vocational School Board.

Duties of the Board

  • Strengthening cooperation and solidarity with internal and external stakeholders of our vocational school.
  • Gathering expectations from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Developing suggestions to enhance students' motivation by utilizing the knowledge and experience of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting practical studies in the relevant field by collaborating with external institutions and organizations.
  • Reviewing and providing recommendations on semester structure, credit hours, and course content in the departments/programs conducted within the units.
  • Making suggestions regarding the professional knowledge required in public and private sectors.
  • Planning to meet the needs of the unit.
  • Proposing the implementation of projects, seminars, thesis studies, panels, symposiums, workshops, and similar scientific activities in the required fields.
  • Sharing recommendations regarding educational and training processes.
  • Presenting all recommendations to the Directorate.
