History - Promotion

Kazım Karabekir Vocational School, which was accepted to be established at the Higher Education Council meeting on 30.09.1994, started its education life in 1995-1996 academic year with Local Administrations and Tourism Guidance programs under Selçuk University.

 

Office Management and Secretariat Program was opened in 1999-2000 academic year.

 

In the 2004-2005 academic year, the name of the Local Administrations program was changed to Local Administrations, and in the 2010-2011 academic year, the name of the Office Management and Secretarial Program was changed to Office Management and Executive Assistantship.

 

Since 2007, our school has left Selçuk University and continues its education life as Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Kâzım Karabekir Vocational School Directorate.

 

Our School, which has been moved to its new building since 2013-2014 academic year, serves our students with more modern facilities. Our new building has the capacity to meet the educational needs and social needs of our students, with 20 (twenty) classrooms, 1 (one) computer laboratory, 1 (one) internet laboratory, library, dining hall, indoor sports halls (volleyball-tennis, basketball, carpet field).

 

Our new building was put into service with new departments, and students were admitted to the Medical Promotion and Marketing Program in 2013-2014 academic year and to the Medical Documentation and Secretariat program in the 2014-2015 academic year. On the other hand, students were recruited to the Call Services Management program in 2015-2016, and finally, the number of students reached 1500 by recruiting the Social Services program in the 2017-2018 academic year.

 

Our school's 2-year education period consists of 4 semesters.

 

Our school, which continues its education with 6 (six) programs, is currently continuing its education and training with the programs of Local Administrations, Office Management and Executive Assistants, Medical Promotion and Marketing, Medical Documentation and Secretarial, Call Center Services and Social Services.

 

Okt. First School Manager Mehmet KÖROĞLU was appointed as the founding director and he held this duty until 22.07.1997.
