ERMENEK VOCATİONAL SCHOOL

Our Ermenek Vocational School affiliated with Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University was established under Selçuk University by the Higher Education Council decision dated December 12, 1990.It started education in the 1991-1992 academic year with the Construction program. In the 1993-1994 academic year, the Electrical Program (Regular Education) was opened; in the 2001-2002 academic year, the 1st Computer Technology and Programming Program (Regular Education) and the 2nd Construction Program (Evening Education) were opened. In the 2002-2003 academic year, the Accounting Program was opened.At the beginning of the 2005-2006 academic year, due to insufficient students, the Construction Program (Regular and Evening Education) was closed and connected to the Construction Program of Ereğli Vocational School under the Rectorate of Selçuk University.In the 2005-2006 academic year, the Evening Education of the Accounting Program and the Regular Education of the Business Administration Program were opened.On April 6, 2026, it moved to its new service building.

Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University is one of the 17 new universities established by Law No. 5662 on May 29, 2007. Since that date, Ermenek Vocational School has continued its education and training under the administration of Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Rectorate.In addition, in 2015, based on the decision of the Higher Education Council dated May 13, 2015, a new program called Mining and Mineral Extraction Department Mining Technology Program was established at our vocational school.In 2017, the Accounting and Tax Department Accounting and Tax Applications Program was closed, and instead, the Property Protection and Security Department Social Security Program was opened, with the academic staff positions transferred to the new program.With the decision of the Higher Education Executive Board dated April 13, 2022, and numbered E-31558, our vocational school opened the "Civil Defense and Firefighting" program under the Property Protection and Security Department.

With the decision of the Higher Education Executive Board dated 02.06.2025, our School's Department of Environmental Protection Technologies opened the program “Environmental Measurement and Monitoring Systems Technicians”; with the decision of the Higher Education Executive Board dated 03.07.2025, student admission was approved, and education began with thirty (30) students.Ermenek Vocational School Directorate ProgramsPrograms offered at our school in the 2025-2026 Academic Year:
