This intellectual output outlined the contents of ‘’skill validation’’ for young IT skilled/interested people to learn about various IT job areas (20 IT jobs including graphic design, data tracking, data management, platform design, IT consultation, cloud architect, health IT specialist, mobile application developer, Web developer, software engineer, data modeler and more) and what they ask from new employers for recruitment where we have listed diverse questions which were gathered via our scientific and sectoral data analysis and created 197 pages long effective output. Some of these questions were used in our software called ‘’online skill validation platform’’ created as a part of this project where our platform includes skill validation quizzes and questionnaires to enable young job seekers in IT fields to take the questionnaires and understand their level of readiness, knowledge’ existing skills and knowledge requirements of such job areas.
Innovative aspects: There are very limited online skill validation platforms especially in Turkish language in Turkey, also not much in the EU concerning IT job areas that we have covered. Therefore, this output plays and important role in answering the need of enabling young job seekers to assess\evaluate their skills for various IT job areas. Also, all of the questions that we have outlined came from scientific and sectoral specific resources which is innovative in a sense that it provided scientific/thrustworthy repertoire.
Impact: The main impact would be enabling youth job seekers in IT fields to assess\evaluate\understand their skills, knowledge, interests and what such specific IT jobs require from new employees, which would help them to better plan their future careers after analysing their skills and interests. Also, it would help IT businesses to use the platform to recruit new employees where they can use our online platform to see how much the new candidates are ready for specific IT jobs. So that it can fasten IT businesses recruitment skills and find the most appropriate candidates.
Transferability: All of the materials prepared in this output was published online as a written document and as an online platform on web so that anyone can reach and use it for free. Therefore, it can be transferred to a wide range of organisations and people in an easy way. Also, all the materials were published in the partners’ languages, English and Turkish which increases its transferability.
