It aims to treat pathologies of cysts and tumors that develop in soft and hard tissues in the mouth, treatment of jaw fractures, removal or maintenance of impacted teeth, surgeries required for prosthesis preparation, treatment of intra-bone infections and lesions originating from teeth, and treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders and diseases. One of the basic services provided in surgical clinics is dental implant application.
In patients with insufficient bone, implant application and prosthesis can be made possible with bone-augmenting methods (bone grafts, distraction osteogenesis).
The main titles of surgical procedures performed in the Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery Department are as follows:

Our Department provides service with 3 Assistant Professors. The Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery Department contributes to the 5-year dentistry education with theoretical and practical applications in the 3rd, 4th and 5th years. In the future, it is planned to open postgraduate doctoral programs and provide training to specialist students within the scope of specialization training in dentistry.
