Prof. Dr. Ali ŞAHİN

He was born in Karaman in 1966.  He graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He completed his doctoral studies at the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Zurich in 1997. He received the title of Associate Professor in the field of Pharmacology in 2004 and Professor in 2010. He has supervised many master's theses and published tens of articles in his area in international and national refereed journals. He has written some chapters in books. His articles have received hundreds of citations in national and international journals. He currently works as a faculty in the Department of Medical Pharmacology in the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey. Prof. Dr. Ali Şahin was appointed Dean of the Ahmet Keleşoğlu Dentistry Faculty by the Council of Higher Education on October 16, 2025. He is married, father of six children and grandfather of one grandchild.
